Frequently Asked Questions
Which airport should I fly into for Vail?
Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE) is the closest — roughly 35 minutes from Vail and about 20 minutes from Avon and Beaver Creek. Denver International Airport (DEN) is about two hours east and usually has more flights and cheaper fares. We arrange transfers from either.
How long is the drive from Denver to Vail?
About two hours in normal conditions, along I-70. Winter weather and traffic on the passes can make it longer, which is why a private driver who tracks your flight is the safer choice for a late or delayed arrival.
Is the transfer included in the price of the rental?
The arranging is. There is no service fee for booking your transfer, the same as for every other concierge service. You pay the operator their normal rate, and we tell you that rate before we book.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
On a private transfer the driver follows your flight number and adjusts, so you keep the ride. On a shared shuttle you are tied to the departure schedule — one more reason we suggest a private vehicle for evening arrivals.
Can you handle ski and snowboard bags?
Yes. Tell us how many bags when you send the flight details and we book a vehicle that fits them. If you would rather travel light, we also arrange ski and snowboard delivery to the rental, fitted at the door.
Do you arrange transfers for large groups?
Yes. Group transfers and several vehicles at once are routine. Tell us the group size when you enquire and we plan around it.
